Ms Pearsall went above and beyond to make sure I was getting the treatment I needed, even checking in with me once I was referred to the hospital. She was fast in correctly diagnosing my condition which helped when trying to get the right treatment from the hospital. Once the hospital had confirmed my condition she then proceeded to yet again go above and beyond and emailed me a file with all information on my condition which helped me understand the condition and ease my mind. I genuinely don’t think I would of had the outcome I have had if it wasn’t for Ms Pearsall being so thorough and knowledgable.

I am so pleased that you are now on track to making an excellent recovery - to be honest I desperately wanted to make sure that no time was lost on treatment and care and that you had the right treatment. You have your whole life ahead of you and it makes be truly weep to think what might have been. She is amazing! In a busy and hardworking department, Ms Pearsall is always smiling, friendly and welcoming and generous with her time. My husband has just completed a very positive double cataract procedure and I will be very happy to follow him shortly.
Unable to make any suggestions for improvement - she is doing a grand job.

After a very long wait for an initial consultation at Whipps Cross I was lucky to meet and be treated by Tahmina Pearsall
She operated on my weakest eye at the end of August. As I suffer from glaucoma, cataracts and very short sight I was very nervous.
Ms Pearsall was very professional and put me at ease. She removed my cataract and corrected my vision.
The result is fantastic! The improvement to my vision is unbelievable I now await treatment on my second eye.

I am always aware of the fact that our eyes are one of the most precious things we have.. especially if you have glaucoma too.. I was very fortunately to have had a consultation with Dr Pearsall - she is simply excellent; kind, incredibly knowledgeable, caring and professional. I am a wheelchair user, have a number of serious health issues and attend 13 different clinics at 5 different hospitals and I can honestly say, she is one of the best doctors I have ever been treated by.

My name is Ms Tahmina Pearsall and I am an experienced Consultant Ophthalmologist based previously at Whipps Cross University Hospital – part of the prestigious Bartshealth Trust - one of the top London teaching hospitals and now at East Surrey Hospital. Feedback from my patients has informed me that they appreciate the warmth, the professional integrity, and open communication that define my medical practice. I am proud to be a UK trained surgeon who has had the good fortune to have been trained in centres of excellence such as Moorfields Eye Hospital, St Thomas’ and Addenbrooke's (Cambridge) which has enable me to provide excellent medical and surgical care across all aspects of Ophthalmology. My research and surgical achievements have won many prizes both nationally and internationally and most recently I was honoured to be nominated for the “Hospital Heroes” award.
